In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie at the Yerevan Football Academy Stadium in the Armenian capital last week, Ararat-Armenia and Universitatea Cluj shared a goalless draw last week.
Universitatea Cluj come into this one on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Universitatea Craiova domestically, as they begin their Romanian SuperLiga season with just a point collected from their opening two matches. They now face an Ararat-Armenia side that are preparing for the 2025/26 Armenian Premier League after they finished nine points behind Noah at the top-of-the-table last season.
