The Peruvians most recently defeated Boys by a goal to nil to extend their unbeaten run of form to 12 matches across all competitions.

Palmeiras, coached by Abel Ferreira, are one of the strongest sides in South America and they showed that by reaching the semi-finals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup this summer before losing to Chelsea. Palmeiras most recently defeated Ceara by two goals to one after winning all six of their group stage matches.
