Union SG preview: Change for Union SG
Over the October international break, Royale Union Saint-Gilloise lost manager Sebastian Pocognoli, a former left-back for affiliate club Brighton and Hove Albion, to Ligue 1 outfit Monaco. He had helped Union SG end almost 100 years without winning the Belgian title when they finished top of the league last year.
The Brussels-based outfit have replaced Pocognoli with former Anderlecht boss David Hubert. Hubert began his reign in charge of the Belgian champions at the weekend with a comfortable 3-1 defeat of Sporting Charleroi in the league at Stade Joseph Marien, with a dominant and impressive performance.
Inter Milan preview: Big win for Chivu
Having lost Simone Inzaghi to Al Hilal over the summer, Internazionale took the surprise decision to appoint former Parma boss Cristian Chivu. The Nerazzurri did appear to be coming towards the end of a cycle with an ageing squad and they started the season slowly, but got a big win at the weekend.
Up against then co-leaders at the top of the Serie A table Roma, under the management of Gian Piero Gasperini, Inter edged past the Giallorossi at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome courtesy of a sixth minute strike scored by Ange-Yvan Bonny, who joined from Parma alongside Chivu over the summer.
Union SG team news: The next gen
That relationship with Brighton has sparked impressive recruitment from Union SG and so their squad can change in terms of key men each summer. They have no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for this one.
Predicted XI (3-4-1-2): Scherpen; Mac Allister, Burgess, Leysen; Patris, Zorgane, Rasmussen, Niang; Ait El Hadj; Florucz, Akinpelu

Union SG vs Inter Milan prediction
In the UEFA Champions League thus far, Union SG pulled off a surprise 3-1 win in the Netherlands against PSV Eindhoven before a 4-0 loss at home to Newcastle United. Inter, on the other hand, have eased to comfortable victories against Slavia Prague and then Ajax. Inter may have to deal with a 'new manager bounce' in Belgium this weekend, but they are moving through the gears now and would have to remain firm favourites.
