Union Saint-Gilloise vs Newcastle prediction

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise had been knocking on the door of winning the Belgian title, and they finally managed to achieve it last season. Union SG will be expected to struggle in the league phase but they managed to win their opening game in this competition by dispatching of PSV Eindhoven by three goals to one in the Netherlands.

They now face a Newcastle United side that began their UEFA Champions League league phase campaign with a good performance as they eventually succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Barcelona at St James’ Park in a game decided by a Marcus Rashford brace before Anthony Gordon pulled a consolation goal back late on.

Newcastle have struggled for goals so far this season and so Union SG may well play on that, but the Magpies do have to remain favourites for this one in Belgium.

Union Saint-Gilloise vs Newcastle Tip: Newcastle to win & under 3.5 goals
