Ukraine vs Lithuania prediction

Ukraine will be so disappointed to have thrown away a lead in their first game, ultimately losing 2-1 to Armenia in Kaunas. That leaves them under intense pressure moving forward, with another defeat knocking them out of the competition with one round of group matches still to play. Expect a better showing from them, particularly offensively when taking into account how Lithuania played last time out.

Whilst they looked great from an attacking perspective, clearly keeping goals out is going to be a challenge for this Lithuanian side, that appears to be their weakness. Like Ukraine, they too need a win so you wouldn’t expect them to change the way they play. With home advantage, Lithuania will likely back themselves to outscore this Ukrainian team. Therefore, backing over 6.5 goals in an entertaining game warrants consideration.

Ukraine vs Lithuania tip: Over 6.5 total goals
