These two started the season well but both have drifted away with Torino sitting in the bottom-half of Serie A, whilst Udinese slip into the middle-of-the-table, too, ahead of this weekend.

Udinese Preview: Faded Friulians

Udinese, with the Pozzo family putting their focus back onto the club of late, had started the season very well under the management of former Legia Warsaw boss Kosta Runjaic. However, they do come into this one on the back of a vital and impressive victory.

The Friulians travelled to the Artemio Franchi in Florence and defeated I Viola by two goals to one. They were 1-0 down at half-time due to an early Moise Kean penalty before second-half strikes from Lorenzo Lucca and Florian Thauvin turned the game on its head.

Torino Preview: Struggling Torino

Torino parted company with now Southampton boss Ivan Juric over the summer and was replaced by disciple of Antonio Conte Paolo Vanoli, who led Venezia to promotion last season. Vanoli is now under a bit of pressure despite what was a strong start to the campaign.

The Turin-based outfit come into this one on the back of a 2-0 loss at home to Bologna in their most recent outing last weekend thanks to goals from Thijs Dallinga and Tommaso Pobega. That means the visitors have won just one of their last eight matches in Serie A.

Udinese Team News: Several issues

Former Middlesbrough midfielder Martin Payero is an injury concern alongside former Watford winger Gerard Deulofeu, whilst goalkeeper Makaye Okoye is also sidelined alongside former Watford striker Keinan Davis.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Sava; Kristensen, Kabasele, Toure; Ehizibue, Lovric, Karlstrom, Ekkelenkamp, Zemura; Thauvin, Lucca

Torino Team News: No Duvan Zapata

Colombia international striker Duvan Zapata formed a strong partnership with Che Adams but he is still now unavailable due to a knee injury alongside defender Perr Schuurs, whilst Sebastian Walukiewicz a doubt due to a chest issue.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Milinkovic-Savic; Vojvoda, Guillermo Maripan, Masina; Pedersen, Ricci, Linetty, Gineitis, Sosa; Tonny Sanabria, Adams

Unavailable: Schuurs (Injured), Duvan Zapata (Injured)

Questionable: Walukiewicz (Injured)

Udinese vs Torino Prediction

Udinese have been fairly entertaining to watch so far this season with Runjaic’s impressive and front foot style at Legia now taking shape in Friuli. Their 17 matches so far this season have consisted of 47 goals. They now face a Torino side that, as mentioned, have won just one of their last eight games and they have scored just one in their last four matches with that one goal coming from the half-way line scored by Che Adams. Udinese, especially with their home advantage, are the favourites for this one.
