Udinese find themselves, almost inexplicably, in the top-half of the Serie A table, as they take on a Sassuolo side content to join them in the middle of the top-flight.

Udinese vs Sassuolo prediction

Former Legia Warsaw boss Kosta Runjaic has overseen an impressive campaign in charge of an Udinese side that haven’t necessarily played for a couple of months but do remain tucked inside the top-half of the table. The Friulians most recently succumbed to a 2-1 loss away at Lecce at Stadio Comunale Via del Mare last weekend.

They now face a Sassuolo side that are themselves content in the middle-of-the-table, having gained promotion, albeit expectedly, from Serie B last season. However, after recent back-to-back wins, Fabio Grosso’s side were put to the sword in a 5-0 demolition at the hands of league leaders Internazionale last weekend.

Sassuolo play good football and have good players, with little to lose. Udinese fall into the same bracket. Both teams scoring, therefore, seems a good shout at the Bluenergy Stadium.
