This serves as a battle between two mid-table sides with both Udinese and Cagliari on seven points after five rounds of games. Both have identical records, winning twice, drawing once and losing twice whilst the pair have each also scored just five goals so far. That makes this game a tough one to call with both clubs coming into it on the back of defeat last weekend.
It’s worth noting that both of Udinese’s wins so far in Serie A have come on the road, they are yet to win at home. This opens up an opportunity for Cagliari, who could well take advantage of the currently defensive fragility of the hosts, who have conceded three times in back-to-back league fixtures.
