Twente vs Bodo/Glimt Prediction

FC Twente earned back-to-back wins to finish the league phase of the UEFA Europa League to finish 23rd and just about in the playoffs, whilst Bodo/Glimt searched for a top eight spot.

The hosts enjoyed an entertaining 3-2 win over Malmo in Norway last month before then edging past Besiktas by a goal to nil to ensure their top 24 spot. They now come into this one on the back of a 3-3 draw with Heerenveen last weekend and that means those two European wins are two of just three victories in their last eight matches across all competitions.

Under the management of Kjetil Knutsen, Bodo/Glimt finished the league phase of the UEFA Europa League sitting ninth and missing out on automatic knockout qualification on goal difference. The Norwegians haven’t returned to domestic action just yet with their most recent competitive outing being a 1-1 draw with Nice at the Allianz Riviera last month.

Bodo/Glimt, as has been the case throughout Knutsen’s reign in the last few years, have been very impressive to watch on the counter-attack with a slick and cohesive style. Twente are fortunate to have made it this far and a double chance bet in favour of the visitors is good value.

Twente vs Bodo/Glimt Tip: Double chance – Bodo/Glimt to win or draw
