Twente vs Besiktas Prediction

FC Twente have given themselves a chance of qualification for the top 24 with a much-needed win last week ahead of facing a Besiktas side also buoyed at the start of a new era.

The home team went to Sweden last week and managed to pull off a 3-2 victory over Malmo in a topsy turvy game. That victory came after just one win in their previous four matches across all competitions but they have had the weekend off to prepare for this one. That was their first win of the UEFA Europa League season after four draws and two defeats before that.

Besiktas appointed former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently and his first game saw them propel themselves into the top 24 thanks to a 4-1 hammering of previously unbeaten in this tournament, Athletic Club, in Istanbul last week before then sharing a 1-1 draw with Antalyaspor at the weekend.

Both of these sides have enjoyed impressive and entertaining, front foot victories to give themselves a chance of playing in European competition into the spring so with both sides needing a win, both teams scoring seems a good bet for this one.
