Toulouse vs Monaco prediction

Toulouse come into this one on the back of back-to-back defeats to title challenging Lens. After a 3-2 defeat in Ligue 1 last weekend, having led 2-0, Toulouse then succumbed to a 4-1 hammering in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France with the last couple of months being focused upon that cup outing.

They now face a Monaco side that, coached by former Royale Union Saint-Gilloise boss Sebastian Pocognoli, have been brilliant in the last few months, albeit the Monegasque have stumbled in their last couple of games with a 4-1 hammering at the hands of Paris being followed by a 2-2 draw with struggling Auxerre.

Monaco started the Pocognoli era poorly and there will be concern about their recent trip but they are firm favourites to bounce back against a fading Toulouse side.

Toulouse vs Monaco tip: Monaco to win
