Toulouse vs Marseille prediction

In the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France the other day, Marseille and Toulouse shared an entertaining and topsy turvy 2-2 draw before Toulouse then defeated the perennial crisis club of France on penalties to make it through to the semi-finals.

Toulouse are in woeful form generally, aside from that surprise win, with the pressure growing on Carlos Martinez Novell due to a frustrating stagnation – and yet they are in the final four in the cup. Marseille have been in crisis again this season with Habib Beye replacing Roberto De Zerbi and beginning in a typically chaotic and inconsistent fashion that is at least consistent with the identity of the club.

Marseille can pull off victories like no other and they tend to be motivated when a matter of pride is on the line so a win here, getting revenge for midweek, wouldn’t be a massive shock.

Toulouse vs Marseille tip: Marseille to win
