This is a fascinating London derby between arguably two of the most under pressure managers in the Premier League as Tottenham Hotspur face West Ham United.

Tottenham preview: Frank on the verge

Tottenham Hotspur come into this one on the back of yet another loss as they succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at home to Aston Villa last weekend in the third round of the FA Cup, continuing to heap pressure on former Brentford boss Thomas Frank.

Spurs supporters have become immensely disillusioned with Frank and, at the time of writing, it appears as though he doesn’t have long left. Spurs have won just 11 of their 31 matches across all competitions so far this season.

West Ham preview: Nuno also on the verge

Nuno Espirito Santo does remain in situ at West Ham United and he has been backed with some big money signings, such as Pablo and Taty Castellanos, but their form has been woeful as they sit firmly in the bottom three and the relegation places.

The Hammers did manage to overcome Championship opposition Queens Park Rangers after extra-time in the third round of the FA Cup last weekend, courtesy of a winner scored by the aforementioned Castellanos at the London Stadium.

Tottenham team news: Richarlison out

It has been confirmed that Richarlison will be out for a few weeks, perhaps until March, as a result of a hamstring injury that was sustained in that clash against Villa last week.

Thomas Frank has said that key midfielder Lucas Bergvall is 'probably available', while left-back Destiny Udogie and striker Dominic Solanke returned to the squad last weekend.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Palhinha, Gray; Tel, Simons, Odobert; Kolo Muani

Unavailable: Dragusin (Fitness), Sarr (International duty), Bentancur (Injured), Kulusevski (Injured), Kudus (Injured), Maddison (Injured)

Questionable: Bergvall (Injured)

West Ham team news: A few doubts

It has been reported that Lucas Paqueta is trying to force through a move to Brazilian giants Flamengo and the Brazil international midfielder is deemed a doubt for this weekned.

As well as the former AC Milan midfielder, there are also injury doubts over Greece international centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos and summer signing Mateus Fernandes.

Predicted XI (3-4-3): Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Todibo, Kilman; Walker-Peters, Potts, Magassa, Scarles; Bowen, Castellanos, Summerville

Unavailable: Fabianski (Injured), Diouf (International duty)

Questionable: Mavropanos (Injured), Fernandes (Injured), Paqueta (Injured)

Tottenham vs West Ham prediction

Tis a big rivalry between two sets of supporters that dislike each other quite a lot but perhaps two sets of supporters that dislike their own team a little bit more right now. Tottenham have very little ability to get the ball forward and play proactively, while West Ham lack any real quality to do so either. As a result, this is unlikely to be very entertaining for the neutral, other than the drama and potential aftermath of whatever result comes.

Tottenham vs West Ham tip: Under 2.5 goals
