Tottenham vs Sunderland prediction

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank was frustrated by former club Brentford last time out, with the two sides playing out a goalless draw that leaves Spurs still languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Three points better off are Sunderland, who most recently delivered a resolute defensive display in holding Man City to a goalless stalemate at the Stadium of Light.

It is now three straight draws for the Black Cats, who are performing admirably in the absence of six players who are currently participating in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The quick turnaround could catch up with them here though, with fatigue likely to be a bigger issue for them compared to the hosts.
