Tottenham Preview: All gone a bit Spurs-y
In their 24 matches in the Premier League so far this season, there has been a combined total of 85 goals in Tottenham Hotspur’s matches with their erratic and entertaining style of football something that is consistent across all competitions under Ange Postecoglou.
Postecoglou’s north Londoners come into this one on the back of being dumped out of both domestic cup competitions. They travelled to Anfield with a lead but lost 4-0 to Liverpool in the semi-finals of the EFL Cup before a defeat to Aston Villa in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Man Utd Preview: United need improvement
Manchester United have not improved since the appointment of Ruben Amorim during the November international break. The Red Devils did manage to come from behind and snatch a controversial winner against Leicester City in the cup lats weekend.
A couple of weeks ago, United suffered another home defeat as Crystal Palace defeated Amorim’s side by two goals to nil thanks to a second-half brace scored by Jean-Philippe Mateta at Old Trafford.
Tottenham Team News: A few return
After an injury crisis that has lasted a few months, Ange Postecoglou has been able to welcome back Guglielmo Vicario, Destiny Udogie and James Maddison; who are all now available for selection. Wilson Odobert is back on grass, whilst Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner have returned to training.
Predicted XI (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Gray, Danso, Udogie; Bissouma, Bentancur, Maddison; Kulusevski, Tel, Son
Unavailable: Dragusin (Injured), Romero (Injured), Van de Ven (Injured), Odobert (Fitness), Richarlison (Injured), Solanke (Injured)
Questionable: Johnson (Fitness), Werner (Fitness)
Man Utd Team News: Unknown issues
Ruben Amorim has not disclosed any names but has suggested there are some issues within the camp ahead of this one. He had said it had 'been a good week until two days ago.' They are waiting to hear back on a couple of issues, whilst Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Jonny Evans and Altay Bayindir all remain sidelined.
Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Mazraoui; Dorgu, Casemiro, Ugarte, Dalot; Fernandes, Diallo; Mainoo
Unavailable: Bayindir (Injured), Evans (Injured), Martinez (Injured), Shaw (Injured), Mount (Injured)

Tottenham vs Man Utd Prediction
Manchester United’s best performance under Amorim have come in against the so-called ‘bigger teams’ in England with a victory at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City, a penalty shootout win against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup and a 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield, too. Ange Postecoglou said he always wins things in his second season and now only the UEFA Europa League remains available for that to be proven true as he surely nears a probable departure from north London. That said, both teams scoring remains a good bet for this because, even if results are poor, they are often fun to watch.
