The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round saw Torpedo Kutaisi suffer a slender 1-0 loss at the GSP Stadium in the Cypriot capital of Nicosia against Omonia Nicosia last week. In that game, it was former Manchester City and Montenegro international striker Stevan Jovetic who scored the only goal of the game for Omonia in that clash in the 20th minute.
In the first qualifying round of this competition, Torpedo Kutaisi managed to overcome Ordabasy by five goals to four on aggregate after a thrilling two legs, whilst Omonia are seeking to continue the improvement of Cypriot clubs in Europe.
