Torino preview: Steady Torino
Torino come into this one on the back of a brilliant victory in their most recent outing, last weekend, as they defeated defending champions Napoli by a goal to nil, courtesy of a winner scored by striker Giovanni Simeone.
The home team have started their campaign with two victories, two draws and three defeats in their opening seven matches. They do have the worst defence in Serie A with 13 goals conceded thus far.
Genoa preview: Poor start for Genoa
Following the appointment of former Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira, Genoa have endured a miserable start to the season without a win in their opening seven matches as they sit in the bottom three and the relegation places.
They have badly struggled for any attacking influence with three goals scored so far. They most recently limped to a goalless draw against Parma, who were down to ten men, at home last weekend.

Torino vs Genoa prediction
Torino are hardly the most thrilling side in the world but, in comparison to Genoa, they are Jurgen Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund at their most intense. Genoa head to Turin without any attacking quality and Vieira has tried to play a much more defensive style of football than he previously has done. This is likely going to be a game decided by fine margins but, with their home advantage, Torino are expected to edge their way to victory.
Torino vs Genoa tip: Torino to win & under 3.5 goals
