TNS vs Differdange prediction
The repechage system of the three UEFA competitions has seen The New Saints and Differdange 03 fall into the third-tier European competition after they suffered defeats in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League earlier this month.
TNS, based in Oswestry on the border between England and Wales, shared a goalless draw with Shkendija in the first-leg a fortnight ago before then suffering a 2-1 defeat after extra-time in North Macedonia. They now face a Differdange side that suffered a couple of defeats to Kosovan champions Drita Gjilan, with a 1-0 loss in the first-leg before a 3-2 defeat at home in the second-leg.
Differdange were the surprise champions of Luxembourg and they actually represent a good opportunity for TNS to make it into the third qualifying round of UEFA competition.
