French wildcard Leolia Jeanjean put in an excellent display to oust a tough foe in Nuria Parrizas-Diaz in straight sets on Monday. The 26-year-old now faces the biggest match of her career once again after winning her Grand Slam debut, as she takes on former world number one Karolina Pliskova in below-par form. The 30-year-old came back from a set down to avoid the shock against another French wildcard, Tessah AndrianJafitrimo, on Tuesday and this match should receive plenty of attention from home crowds as a result. Pliskova has struggled since a return from injury but a run to the semi-finals of the Strasbourg Open suggests she is on her way back in time for the grass season. Notably, the Czech has failed to make it past the second round in her last two appearances at Roland-Garros and that makes taking Jeanjean to snatch at least a set the tempting move here.
