Alexandra Eala will hope to complete a hat-trick when she faces Donna Vekic in Berlin.

The Filipina leads the head-to-head 2-0 having triumphed each time on hardcore earlier this year.

Vekic will arrive having pulled off the shock title triumph at Queen’s and may be slightly fatigued. 

That could play into Eala’s hands, although Donna has greater experience and pedigree on the surface.

It may well go three which would probably favour the youngster given the Croatian star’s recent exploits.
