World number 36 Sara Sorribes Tormo won her first WTA title last season at the Gudalajara Open and she reached the quarter-finals there last month before failing to defend her title. The 25-year-old has reached the quarter-finals in her last two tournaments, with runs to the last eight of the Cincinnati Open and Miami Open her best results to date at Masters level.
