Tanzania vs Madagascar prediction

Tanzania have certainly been among the stand out sides so far over the course of this African Nations Championship having played two and won two, scoring three times and not conceding a single goal themselves in the process. A late winner from Shomari Kapombe saw off a resilient Mauritania to make it six points from a possible six for Tanzania and after a two-day rest, they take to the field again here.

Madagascar have been afforded significantly more rest time than Tanzania with their last game coming on August 3rd, a 0-0 draw against Mauritania. Whilst this may work in Madagascar’s favour the longer this contest goes on, Tanzania have momentum in their favour and could well catch their opponents cold in the first half. When taking into account the performances on both nations from a defensive point of view so far in the tournament, backing under 2.5 goals appears a smart play.

Tanzania vs Madagascar tip: Under 2.5 goals
