Sydney Team News: New suspension

Sydney have been without attacking midfielder Joseph Lacey for a while now but he is also now sidelined alongside goalkeeper Harrison Devenish-Meares after he was red carded against the Central Coast Mariners last weekend.

Western United Team News: Several injuries

17-year-old centre-back Dylan Leonard has served his suspension for a red card but other players such as James Donachie and Ben Garuccio still sidelined through injury alongside winger Khoder Kaddour.

Predicted XI (4-4-2): Sutton; Russell, Imai, Leonard, Shamoon; Danzaki, Bozinovski, Thurgate, Walatee; Ibusuki, Botic

Sydney vs Western United Prediction

The home team come into this one on the back of suffering a 2-1 defeat to the Central Coast Mariners last weekend in a game in which Alou Kuol notched a late brace to turn thing around. Sydney have been inconsistent throughout the campaign as they deal with domestic and AFC Cup commitments. They now face a Western United side that have managed just one win in their opening seven matches of the campaign and Sydney should come out on top in this one, especially with their home advantage.

Sydney vs Western United Tip: Sydney to win
