Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – FOX Sports

How to watch online: UK – Amazon Prime / US – Disney+

Key stats

  • All the previous three international matches between Switzerland and Kosovo finished level.
  • Switzerland have lost only one of their last 38 World Cup qualifying matches (W28 D9).
  • Switzerland’s last home defeat in World Cup qualifying was a shock 2-1 home defeat against Luxembourg in September 2008. They are unbeaten in 19 since then (W14 D5).
  • Switzerland have kept ten clean sheets in their last 11 World Cup qualifying matches at home
  • Kosovo have won just one of their previous 18 World Cup qualifying matches (D3 L14). That was a 1-0 victory away from home against Georgia in September 2021.

Switzerland vs Kosovo prediction

Switzerland come into this one on the back of a 4-0 hammering of the United States in their most recent outing during the June international break. That was their third successive victory in which they have scored 11 goals. Murat Yakin’s side were quarter-finalists at UEFA EURO 2024 last summer.

They now face a Kosovo side that are continuing to improve with some very decent players as they try and make themselves a middling European side. An attack of Edon Zhegrova and Vedat Muriqi is always set to be exciting and they have managed eight successive victories ahead of this one, scoring 24 goals.

Kosovo are an entertaining side to watch and have often been brilliant to watch, so Switzerland probably remain favourites but it should be fun for the neutral this week.

Switzerland vs Kosovo tip: Switzerland to win & over 2.5 goals
