Switzerland vs Egypt prediction
Whilst Egypt may have ended up third in Group E, they only lost one match over the course of the group stage and that was against incredibly strong opponents in the form of England. Aside from that, they drew against a Venezuela team who had stunned the young Lions earlier in the tournament and comfortably beat Haiti by four goals to one.
Switzerland won their group, but this definitely feels like a potential trap game from their perspective and if they aren’t at their highest performance levels, Egypt could easily spring a surprise. Expect a tight contest and Egypt likely to frustrate the Swiss. We could well see extra time, so consider backing a draw after 90 minutes.
