  • Prior to their defeat against Switzerland on 10 October 2025, Sweden had won ten successive World Cup qualifying matches at home.
  • Kosovo are unbeaten in their last two World Cup qualifying matches (W1 D1). They have never played three successive games in the qualifiers without defeat.
  • Kosovo’s 2-0 victory against Sweden on 8 September 2025, is one of only two matches they have won in World Cup qualifying history (21 games played). The other was a 1-0 away success against Georgia in September 2021.

Sweden vs Kosovo prediction

Despite boasting an impressive squad in terms of talent and gaining promotion from League C of the UEFA Nations League last autumn, Sweden have been woeful in this FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign and that continued with a 2-0 defeat at home to Switzerland the other day.

Kosovo head to Stockholm on the back of a goalless draw with Slovenia at the Pristina City Stadium in Prishtina the other day. Under the management of former Austria boss Franco Foda, the Kosovans have emerged as the biggest challenger to Switzerland in this group.

Kosovo defeated Sweden by two goals to nil in Kosovo last month and they could well cause major ruptures in Swedish football by going for blood in Scandinavia.

Sweden vs Kosovo tip: Double chance – Kosovo to win or draw
