Sweden vs Germany prediction
Sweden made it to the quarter-finals in 2022 before being blown out by Canada and will be hoping to go one step further this time around, which would guarantee them a medal match. They have a number of exciting players making waves not only domestically, but also in the USA playing college ice hockey, particularly at the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Like Sweden, Germany boasts a couple of players among their squad who compete in the PWHL (Professional Women’s Hockey League). But Sweden has the superior depth and are likely to enjoy the better of proceedings. In what will be the first Olympic game to be played on the newly, albeit hastily constructed ice at the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena, back Sweden to put a win on the board.
