Sunderland vs Huddersfield prediction

Whilst Sunderland may be fully focused on their league campaign back in the top flight of English football, their fans would no doubt love to see a cup run and an opportunity to potential end their long majority trophy drought, especially after having watched bitter rivals Newcastle win this competition last season to end their own long wait to lift a major trophy.

Huddersfield have nothing to lose here and should cause the Black Cats some problems, particularly on the counter attack as they likely look to soak up pressure from the team with naturally stronger, more technically gifted players. But the depth Sunderland possess should see them get the job done.
