Sudan vs Senegal prediction

Sudan lost out in extra-time against Madagascar in the semi-finals, conceding in the 116th minute and ending their hopes in heart-breaking fashion. That result drops them into the third-place match, where they will face Senegal. It was an even more agonising defeat for the Lions of Teranga, who went out on penalties vs Morocco following a 1-1 draw. It remains to be seen as to the condition of both squads following 120 punishing minutes of football.

All fixtures in the knockout stage have seen under 2.5 goals scored so far. But if there was ever was a match where over 2.5 goals would be scored, you would assume it’s this one. There is little-to-no pressure on both teams with them only playing for placement and the expectation is the players from each side will be afforded more freedom to push multiple bodies forward.

Sudan vs Senegal tip: Over 2.5 goals
