Kick-off date/time:

How to watch on TV: UK – Not televised / US – Not televised

How to watch online: UK – FIFA+ / US – FIFA+

Key Stats

  • Sudan have won four of their last 30 World Cup qualifying matches (D10 L16).
  • Mauritania are aiming to win a World Cup qualifying match outside of Mauritania for the first time (D4 L11).

Sudan vs Mauritania Prediction

At the top end of Group B in CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup sees Senegal sitting unbeaten at the top on 18 points, a couple of points ahead of the Democratic Republic of Congo, who themselves are four ahead of Sudan. The Sudanese will be aware that they can squeeze ahead of the DR Congo and into a runner up spot and a potential intercontinental playoff berth.

Sudan had been unbeaten and very impressive up until the September international break before back-to-back losses last month against Senegal and then Togo. Mauritania have managed just one win in their eight matches thus far.

This match is being played in the neutral venue of Tanzania but, regardless of that, it shouldn’t change the fact that it should again be a low-scoring encounter this week.

Sudan vs Mauritania Tip: Under 2.5 goals
