The Sudanese, who are ranked 117th in the world according to FIFA, made their way through to the knockout stages of the 2025 CAF Africa Cup of Nations in their most recent outing, beaten 3-1 by the aforementioned Senegalese.
Ethiopia come into this one on the back of a steady start to this year with a 4-0 aggregate defeat of Sao Tome e Principe in the preliminary round of AFCON qualifying before a 1-0 win against Malawi and then a 1-1 draw a few days’ later.
Ethiopia have now won four and drawn one of their last six matches and they may well be a decent value bet to perhaps side with here.
