Strasbourg vs Nice prediction

Gary O’Neil has done a good job since replacing Liam Rosenior in January. Strasbourg come into this one on the back of being hammered 3-0 by Stade Rennais in Ligue 1 but their priority came a few days’ earlier as they came from 2-0 down on aggregate to win 4-2 against Mainz in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

They now face a Nice side that begin the match day sitting just four points outside of the bottom three and the danger zone. The southerners most recently shared a goalless draw with an in-form Lille side at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, extending their current winless run of form to four matches in France’s top-flight.

Nice have to ensure they survive in France but Strasbourg can prioritise this alongside Europe and so siding with the hosts is a good bet for this one.
