Stoke City are aiming to make it five wins in a row to start the season, extending their 100% record, but to do that they’ll need to overcome another unbeaten club in League One Bradford City.

Stoke City vs Bradford City prediction

Stoke City look a different beast so far this season under Mark Robins and they won’t want to let their momentum slide in the League Cup, particularly against lower league opposition. But Bradford City recruited well in the summer and have made a great start to life back in the third tier, so to get the better them won’t be easy for the Potters.

Don’t expect any sort of complacency from Stoke under Robins and when taking into account what we’ve seen so far from Bradford, this is likely to be a close encounter across 90 minutes. But with home advantage in their favour, the higher division side is worth backing to edge out the Bantams.
