Stockport County have perhaps been unconvincing so far this season but they could well motor as they take on what remains a poor Exeter City side at Edgeley Park.

Stockport vs Exeter prediction

Dave Challinor has been harsh with his criticism of his underperforming Stockport County side that are one of the pre-season title favourites. The Hatters’ 1-0 defeat of Blackpool at Edgeley Park last weekend, though, leaves them tucked inside the top six and the playoff places in League One.

Exeter City, on the other hand, have been expected to be battling against the drop in the third-tier. The Grecians have managed to pick up four points from their last two games in League One but they are still underwhelming in terms of their performance level, under the management of Gary Caldwell.

Exeter have a limited squad and they are expected to struggle this season, and even with their poor average performance level means that Stockport should come out on top here.

Stockport vs Exeter tip: Stockport to win
