Last year's Ally Pally semi-finalist Stephen Bunting comes into PDC World Darts Championship after a strange year which has seen him largely struggle in TV events, yet thrive elsewhere.
'The Bullet' won two World Series of Darts events, two European Tour events and claimed two Players Championship titles throughout 2025, and he finds himself ranked fourth in the world despite some surprising early exits on stage this year.
Sebastian Bialecki, though, is a promising young dart player, with the 22-year-old Pole having claimed his first PDC title in July by winning Players Championship 22 in Halle.
A two-time World Youth semi-finalist to boot, Bialecki has a promising future in the sport, but this will be a tough ask for him against an elite player.
Bunting tends to perform well at Alexandra Palace, and though Bialecki may nick a set, Bunting should prevail.
