St Pat’s Athletic vs Besiktas prediction

In their European campaign thus far, Saint Patrick’s Athletic have managed to produce two victories against Baltic opposition. They defeated Lithuanian outfit Hegelmann by three goals to nil on aggregate in the first qualifying round, before then beating Nomme Kalju by three goals to two on aggregate in the second qualifying round.

Besiktas have been underwhelming ever since the appointment of former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and the Norwegian is now reportedly on the verge of being sacked. The Istanbul-based giants were beaten 6-2 on aggregate by Ukrainian Premier League outfit Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Europa League last month.

Besiktas aren’t convincing at the moment and St Pat’s might fancy their chances of being a frustrating team to play against at home, but Besiktas remain favourites.

St Pat’s Athletic vs Besiktas tip: Besiktas to win & under 4.5 goals
