St. Helens vs Wakefield Trinity prediction
This is all set up to be an absolute thriller between two red-hot teams. Whilst the fancied St. Helens have won their last three in all competitions, Wakefield Trinity have taken the whole competition by storm, winning their most recent five Super League encounters and accumulating 52 points against Bradford Bulls last time out. Their lack of fear and attacking prowess is enough to get everyone’s attention and they will go toe-to-toe with the Saints.
But in what is expected to be a close affair, you cannot discount the importance of playing at home, especially when considering St. Helens’ record in front of their own fans. The Redvee have won all four of their home fixtures in all competitions this season and the ability they have to stifle their opponents offensively, is a critical strength which could bear fruit in a battle such as this. With that in mind, consider backing St. Helens to narrow edge out Wakefield.
