St. Helens Team News: Welsby back in the mix

St. Helens have been afforded a huge boost by the news that full-back Jack Welsby is fit enough to be named in the squad and he could make his long-awaited return from injury against the Giants.

Huddersfield Giants Team News: Carr and Land named

Squad: Jacob Gagai, Jake Bibby, Sam Halsall, Oliver Wilson, Zac Woolford, Thomas Burgess, Harry Rushton, Ashton Golding, Matty English, George King, Joe Greenwood, Fenton Rogers, Leroy Cudjoe, Tristan Powell, Taane Milne, Kieran Rush, Connor Carr, George Flanagan Jr, Archie Sykes, Matt Frawley, Marshall Land

St. Helens vs Huddersfield Giants Prediction

St. Helens will surely be hugely motivated leading up to this contest knowing that victory would see them rise up two places in the table. Confidence within their camp must be high when considering that the Saints are coming off the back of consecutive wins and have now won seven of their last eight games since mid-June.

Huddersfield Giants have also recorded back-to-back wins leading into this encounter, so if the hosts underestimate them at any point, they could get burnt. But you wouldn’t expect that from a side led by Paul Wellens. Backing St. Helens to keep their winning streak going appears the sensible move.
