St. George Illawarra Dragons vs Wests Tigers prediction

Although they remain rooted to the bottom of the NRL ladder, St. George Illawarra Dragons have shown some improvement lately, and were very much competitive against Canberra Raiders last week.

The Dragons did fall away after the first half though, and eventually lost 24-16 to leave them six points adrift of the Gold Coast Titans, who are one place above them in the table.

Wests Tigers' poor away form continued last week with a low-scoring defeat to the Knights, and you have to go back to early April for the last time they won on the road.

The Dragons may sniff a result here against a side who are trending in the opposite direction. If they can maintain their intensity for the duration of the match, we can the hosts picking up just their second win of the season.
