Sri Lanka vs Brunei prediction

The Sri Lankan national football team, coached by Abdullah Al Mutairi, most recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Thailand in Bangkok as they continue to improve and become more difficult to play against, ranked 200th in the world by FIFA. They have suffered just three defeats in their last eight matches.

They now face a Brunei side that come into this one on the back of a 5-0 loss to Lebanon during the March international break, which followed them finishing off 2024 with an 11-0 annihilation at the hands of Russia in November. They had enjoyed five successive victories during 2024 before a four-match winless run ahead of this one.

Two of those victories during that five-match winning streak came against Sri Lanka, both by a goal to nil, so backing a similar result less than a year on may well be a good value bet.

Sri Lanka vs Brunei tip: Brunei to win & under 3.5 goals
