Having finished as runners’ up to FC Porto in Liga Portugal, Sporting CP have finished the season very well in the league with three successive victories ahead of their search for more silverware this weekend.
Torreense have done extremely well to reach the final of the Taca de Portugal as a second-tier outfit. The visitors are also in the middle of a promotion/relegation playoff against Casa Pia, having shared a goalless draw at home last week.
Torreense have already done something fairly special and their attention will be on that second-leg so siding with Sporting would appear the way to go for this one.
