Sporting Braga vs Hoffenheim Prediction

After winning their opening match against Maccabi Tel Aviv, Braga have failed to win any of their last three matches so they will be eager to put that right here. The loss at home to Bodo Glimt was particularly frustrating although they were not helped by a red card at 1-1 in that match.

Boss Carlos Carvalhal may be reluctant to rotate his team as much as he would usually as they really need to get some points and this will not be easy against Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.

The visitors are not finding it easy juggling the European matches with their domestic commitments as they sit in the bottom half of the Bundesliga and have five points from their opening four matches in the Europa League.

They will be reluctant to change things around too much here given their desire to get a positive result but they do have a busy schedule coming up before the winter break.

Pending team news and the strength of the starting line-ups, we like Braga in this one. They will be keen to make home advantage count and with Hoffenheim in mediocre form, the hosts can get a win here.

Sporting Braga vs Hoffenheim Tip: Sporting Braga to win
