Spartak Trnava vs Hibernians prediction

In the first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie at Hibernians Ground in Malta last week, Spartak Trnava managed to get themselves a one-goal advantage in the first-leg. Spartak Trnava opened the scoring in the 27th minute via Libor Holik, before Charleston equalised for the Maltese side in the 78th minute, but a Roman Prochazka penalty snatched the advantage for Spartak Trnava late on.

This is Hibernians first tie in Europe for the 2025/26 campaign, whilst Spartak Trnava suffered a slender 3-2 aggregate loss to Hacken in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League earlier this month.

Hibernians will believe they can get at Spartak on the counter-attack away from home, but the Slovakians are firm favourites to make it into the third qualifying round.
