Sparta Prague vs Aktobe prediction

Sparta Prague majorly underwhelmed in the Czech top-flight last season, but they have at least started with collecting four points from their opening two matches of the campaign. They face an Aktobe side that are currently sitting fourth in the Kazakh Premier League table, seven points adrift of league leaders Astana.

Last week, at the Ortaliq Stadion in Kazakhstan, Sparta Prague suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Aktobe in the first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie. Aktobe were 2-0 up in that game before a late Veljko Birmancevic penalty gave Sparta Prague a much-needed lifeline.

That late goal will mean that Sparta Prague stand a real chance of overturning the deficit against Aktobe and they have to be viewed as favourites for this one in Czechia.
