Spain vs Mexico prediction

Spain will need to impose themselves on Mexico in this game, play around them and take their chances when they come. They were decidedly second best against Morocco, so must improve and the expectation is that they will. Meanwhile, Mexico came from behind twice against Brazil and whilst they have question marks against them defensively, Mexico don’t ever give up.

Expect an attacking style of play from Spain in an attempt to get in front early on and try to hold the lead. But Mexico have already showed their offensive potency at this tournament and it’s hard to see them being shut out. Therefore, the shrewd play may well be to back both teams finding the net.

Spain vs Mexico tip: Both teams to score
