Spain vs England prediction

Spain, as ever, have yet another strong squad at U21 level and they but they were unconvincing at the start of this tournament. They needed a late winner to see off Slovakia before a late turnaround to defeat Romania. They were then held to a 1-1 draw with Italy at Stadion Antona Malatinskeho in their final game.

They now face an England side that, coached by Lee Carsley, were impressive in their opener in a comfortable defeat of Czechia but that has been backed up by some lacklustre performances. A goalless draw with Slovenia was followed by a 2-1 defeat to Germany in their final group stage game.

Both sides seek to dominate the ball and that could lead to a game in which they cancel each other out and backing extra-time to come into play would appear good value here.

Spain vs England tip: Draw
