Southampton vs Swansea Prediction

Southampton have endured a miserable campaign in the Premier League following their promotion last season and the appointment of Ivan Juric has not changed their fortunes as they welcome Luke Williams’ Swansea City to St Mary’s this weekend.

Former Torino and Roma boss Juric took charge of his first Saints game on Boxing Day with an improved performance eventually leading to a 1-0 loss at home to West Ham United. They were then beaten 2-1 by Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park before suffering a 5-0 demolition at home to Brentford last weekend in a result that certainly flattered them.

Swansea come into this one on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to West Bromwich Albion last weekend in which Joe Allen notched a second-half stoppage-time equaliser. The visitors have been in improved form as they sit firmly in mid-table in the second-tier, sitting six points outside of the top six and the playoff places.

The FA Cup is known for its magic and upsets and this one seems set up well down on the south coast with Swansea sensing an opportunity against struggling Saints.

Southampton vs Swansea Tip: Double chance – Swansea to win or draw
