There is a bit of pressure on this one for Will Still and his Southampton side as the Saints now welcome Swansea City side to St Mary’s down on the south coast this weekend.

Southampton vs Swansea prediction

It has been a very slow start for Southampton, following their relegation from the Premier League last season and the appointment of former Stade de Reims and Lens boss Will Still. Saints have managed just two victories in their nine matches in the Championship so far this season.

Swansea City were excellent in the second-half of last season under the interim management of Alan Sheehan, and he was given the job on a permanent basis. He has started this campaign with three victories, three draws and three defeats as they sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table.

With home advantage and now further time to have gelled under Still, Southampton simply have to be viewed as the favourites to get over the line in this one.

Southampton vs Swansea tip: Double chance – Southampton to win or draw
