Not many would’ve expected QPR to come away with three points at the MKM Stadium last weekend but that’s what we saw as they were ruthless in front of goal and were rewarded with a 1-3 victory against Hull City. Now they are out to take another scalp away from home, with in-form Southampton their latest opponents.
The Saints are unbeaten in their last seven across all competitions and have racked up 14 points from the last 18 available to them. Finally, the plethora of high-class attacking players within their squad are performing to the standard expected of them pre-season and results have been forthcoming. When you compare these two teams, Southampton are the stronger side and after being held at the weekend, it would be no surprise to see them get back to winning ways here.
