Southampton vs Millwall prediction

Under the management of Will Still, Southampton struggled badly at the start of the season before a lot of improvement under initial interim and then new permanent boss Tonda Eckert. The Saints are now winless in their last four matches, though, after a 1-1 draw with Birmingham City at St Andrew’s the other day.

They now face a Millwall side that, with Alex Neil at the helm, begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top six and the playoff places but the Lions have been in their own poor form. However, the south Londoners did manage to see off Bristol City by two goals to one at The Den the other day.

Millwall remain a difficult team to beat, despite inconsistency in the last couple of months, and siding with them against a fallible Saints side seems good value.

Southampton vs Millwall tip: Double chance – Millwall to win or draw
